March 6, 2019 at 6:30–7:30pm
550 Kinderkamack Rd, Oradell, NJ 07649
Healing foods create a healthy body and mind in this interactive workshop. New habits and relationships with food needs to happen in order to slim down and stay at your ideal weight. Hypnosis helps supports the creation of new habits and reduction of stress, which can be a trigger for overeating. Create the perfect ingredients for weight loss success by combining Annette O’Neill, RDN’s knowledge of healing foods with our Chef Roel Lopez and Mary Battaglia’s focus on hypnosis, changing habits and mindfulness.
Hypnosis is a natural relaxed state that is similar to a daydream state. In hypnosis, by creating positive thoughts about eating the right portions and choosing healing foods, you support your weight loss goal. The mind is very powerful and can be used to make positive changes in all areas of your life including weight loss.
New studies are showing the effects of obesity on children and teens. New global estimates of child and adolescent’s obesity released on Oct 11, 2017 show the number of obese children and adolescents has increased 10 fold in the last 40 years, according to the study in the Lancet. By teaching adults and children how to create a healthy mindset, and make the right food choices, we can change the course of the future generations’ health and wellness.
According to the CDC, 40% of adults in the United States had obesity in 2015-2016.
Obesity-related conditions include heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer, some of the leading causes of preventable, premature death.
It is time for a change and to reclaim healthy lifestyles.
Hypnosis creates a positive mindset of eating right and staying in control of choosing the right foods. Participants will leave with 5 tips on healthy living and experience the relaxation of hypnosis.
